MindSnap brings together private journaling, mood tracking, and goal management in one calm, focused iOS app — with no account required.

PRIVATE JOURNALING Write freely in a distraction-free editor with rich text support, focus writing mode, and voice dictation. Reflection prompts help when you are not sure where to start. Individual entries can be locked with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode — so your most personal thoughts stay private, even if someone else picks up your phone.

MOOD TRACKING MindSnap detects a mood signal from what you write, entirely on your device. This is a helpful reflection tool, not a medical assessment. You can override any detected mood at any time. A mood calendar and simple insights help you notice patterns in how you feel over time.

GOALS & HABITS Create personal goals with flexible schedules, priority levels, and reminders. Progress goals work alongside optional Apple Health data for fitness-related activities including steps, distance, exercise minutes, and active energy. Earn points and build streaks for staying consistent. Levels reward long-term commitment.

PRIVACY & SYNC All journal and goal data is stored locally on your device. Optional iCloud sync uses Apple's private CloudKit system — only you can access your data. The developer has no access to your journal entries, goals, or Health data. iCloud sync status is visible in Settings so you always know what's happening.

WIDGETS & REMINDERS Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show your goal progress at a glance without displaying private journal text. Goal reminders use Time Sensitive notifications so important habits stay on your radar. In-app guides walk you through every screen so you always know what to do.
