Open the app, tap record, and speak. Slate transcribes your voice on-device, quietly cleans up filler words, and saves everything privately to your phone. Most entries take under two minutes. I built Slate because I've always admired people who journal. I tried to be that person for years and never found a way to stick with it. So I built something for real life: messy, fast, and easily forgotten. Not for perfect writers or long entries. For anyone who feels like their days are blurring together. For anyone who wants to be a little more present in their own life.
