StitchSend – embroidery files to your embroidery machine over Wi-Fi
Stitch more. Cable less.
StitchSend transfers embroidery files directly from your iPhone or iPad to the embroidery machine — reliably, quickly, and without the detour through a computer or constantly swapping USB sticks.
The StitchSend device is connected once via USB to the embroidery machine and behaves there like a classic USB storage drive. For the embroidery machine, nothing changes: it accesses a storage medium with embroidery files. New designs are transferred to it over the local Wi-Fi from your device and are immediately available in the machine's file browser.
The reverse path works too: files created directly on the embroidery machine and stored on the StitchSend device can be transferred back to your device at any time.

SIMPLE TRANSFER
Pick a file, send it, done.
StitchSend shows the current contents of the StitchSend device and lets you transfer individual files, folders, or entire ZIP archives.
When importing ZIP files you have a choice: the contained folder structure can be preserved, or the files can be placed directly at the top level — depending on how you want to use them on the embroidery machine.
The transfer happens exclusively over the local Wi-Fi. An internet connection is not required.

PREVIEW DIRECTLY IN THE APP
For common formats, StitchSend provides a preview:
DST, PES, JEF, SEW, HUS, EXP, VP3 and VP4.
This way you can check which design is actually in the file before transferring. In addition — depending on the format — stitch count, dimensions, and colour information are shown.
For faster access, preview images are stored locally on the device. Their display and regeneration can be disabled in the settings at any time, and stored previews can be deleted.
———
FLEXIBLE WITH FILE FORMATS
Many common embroidery formats are supported out of the box.
In addition, custom file extensions can be defined and transferred — matching your particular embroidery machine and workflow.
———
YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR NETWORK
Embroidery files are transferred exclusively between your device and the StitchSend device. There is no cloud upload and no analysis of the contents.
For activation and firmware updates, the StitchSend device communicates with the manufacturer's server. The embroidery files themselves never leave the local network in the process.
———
DEMO MODE
The app can be tried out even without a StitchSend device.
Demo mode shows, using example files, how the interface, preview, and transfer work.
Beyond that, you can also load your own embroidery files and ZIP archives and test the complete workflow within the app. This gives you a realistic feel for how StitchSend works with your own files — even though no actual transfer happens without a device.

REQUIREMENTS
A StitchSend device is required for productive use.
Initial setup is done via a Mac or Windows computer, since the device software first has to be written to a microSD card. The desktop app guides you step by step through the entire process.
Existing devices can then also be managed directly from iPhone or iPad, or the Wi-Fi credentials can be changed via a USB-C cable.

SUPPORTED FORMATS

In short:
StitchSend replaces the USB stick with a direct Wi-Fi connection between your device and the embroidery machine. No detours. No re-plugging.
