Mente is a private practice organizer for psychologists, psychotherapists, and counselors. Manage clients, appointments, notes, plans, objectives, tasks, payments, and follow-up without creating a Mente account.

YOUR DATA STAYS UNDER YOUR CONTROL

Mente runs on your iPhone or iPad. Records remain primarily on your device, with no stored content transferred to developer-controlled servers. Optional cloud features use Apple services only when enabled.

FREE FEATURES

• Clients, Plans & Tasks: Create or import clients, build plans and objectives, and manage follow-up tasks. • Structured Notes: Keep client notes and private session notes together with each record. • Flexible Scheduling: Book one-time or recurring appointments, edit exact occurrences, and track session status and payment. • Meeting Details: Store a secure online link or appointment-specific physical address. • Appointment Messages: Prepare editable confirmations, reminders, lists, rescheduling, cancellation, and payment follow-up. • Calendar Files: Add an optional privacy-aware .ics file to an appointment message. • Actionable Notifications: Prepare messages, snooze, mark payments, tasks, or objectives, and open the exact item. • Planning & Insights: Use Today Focus, workload heatmaps, filters, and on-device session, objective, and billing insights. • Live Activities: Follow an active appointment on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, subject to your privacy settings. • Data Portability: Export CSV files and create password-protected .mente backups compatible with both iOS and Android. • PDF Reports: Generate on-device client dossiers with the sections you choose. • App Protection: Use Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode, with immediate background locking.

MENTE PRO

• Encrypted iCloud Backup & Sync: Keep encrypted backup data in your private iCloud account through CloudKit, protected by a Recovery Key. • Calendar Sync: Synchronize appointments with a writable device calendar. Client initials are used by default. • Note Templates: Use built-in formats, create encrypted custom templates, save favorites, and set client defaults. • Message Reminders: Schedule private local reminders before or after appointments or at a custom time. • Communication History: Keep factual sharing history without message bodies, recipient details, meeting links, or delivery claims. • Per-Client Defaults: Add individual message-reminder timing defaults. Preferred message language remains free. • Priority Support: Receive faster assistance when you need help.

FLEXIBLE PLANS

Choose Monthly, Annual, or Lifetime Access. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled and can be managed in your Apple account settings. Lifetime is a one-time purchase.

Manual .mente backups, CSV exports, PDF reports, appointment messages, and calendar-file sharing remain free.

IMPORTANT

• Built for independent professionals and solo operators, not multi-user clinics. • An Apple account is optional and needed only for iCloud, Calendar, or App Store purchases. • Mente tracks payment status but does not process payments or issue invoices. • Mente is not a medical device and is not intended for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, or management of medical or psychological conditions. • Exported CSV and PDF files are unencrypted. Protect copies that you save or share.

PERMISSIONS & PRIVACY

Contacts are used only when you import a client. Calendar access is used only when you enable Calendar Sync with Mente Pro. Face ID or Touch ID is used for required device authentication when available.
