No server required. Works right out of the box.

TAK Can is a full-featured situational awareness app for iOS. Drop it on your phone and you're immediately monitoring emergency alerts, tracking wildfires, watching road incidents, and coordinating with your team — all without creating an account or touching a server.

Live Data Feeds (standalone, no server needed) • Alert Ready — national emergency alerts: Amber alerts, severe weather, evacuations • Wildfire tracking — active fire hotspots from Natural Resources Canada • 511 road incidents — closures, construction, and hazards for ON, QC, BC, and AB • Earthquakes — USGS worldwide M2.5+ events in the past 24 hours • Hurricanes — NOAA active tropical storm tracking (Atlantic & Pacific) • Severe weather — NWS tornado and severe thunderstorm alerts (USA) • Tsunamis — NOAA Pacific and global tsunami warnings

Mesh Networking (no internet required) • Device-to-device mesh via Apple Multipeer Connectivity • Bluetooth LE fallback for background mesh when screen is off • Chat and position sharing across the mesh

Apple Watch • Live compass, speed, and altitude on your wrist • Heart rate and battery broadcast to the team • Emergency beacon and silent call from the watch • Chat notifications and quick reply

Live Data Subscription (optional) TAK Can Live Data is an optional auto-renewable subscription: • Monthly plan — billed monthly, cancel anytime • Annual plan — billed once per year, includes a free trial period Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Built on TAK Aware TAK Can is based on the open-source TAK Aware project. TAK (Team Awareness Kit) is the same technology used by first responders and emergency management teams worldwide.
