Heirloom — A Memory Book

Heirloom is a quiet way to record what mattered, keep it close, and pass it on.

A book that lives on your phone: entries you record by voice, type by hand, or attach to a photo. They organize themselves on a year-by-year timeline, in a typography that feels like a real book, not a feed. Recording is unlimited and free.

Create a Family Book with the people who share your history. Invite relatives, approve members, and collect stories, recordings, and photos in one private shared book. Members can report an entry, remove their own contributions, or leave at any time; the keeper can moderate entries and close the book.

When you're ready, give the whole book, or a single memory, to someone you love. They get a private link in a real email. If they install Heirloom, the memory opens inside their own Shelf, attributed to you. If not, it opens in a clean web page. Their inbox, their pace.

Set a delivery date, and Heirloom holds the memory until then. A letter for a graduation. A book for a 70th birthday. A note that arrives next December.

Apple Digital Legacy is built into Heirloom's "When I am gone" walk-through, a guided way to make sure the right person gets the book if you're no longer here. It generates a printable instruction sheet explaining who you are, what they'll find, and how Apple's legacy contact flow works. It's free.

PRIVACY Your private book lives on your device and, if you enable it, in your own iCloud. When you choose to send a memory or book, that share is stored on our Cloudflare infrastructure until it expires or you withdraw it. Family Book entries are stored there so approved members can access the shared book. In the optional Guided Session, answer text is sent through our service to Anthropic to generate one follow-up question; it is not used to train models. Audio leaves your device only when you choose to share that memory. We don't sell your data.
