WHY WE BUILT IT Eirloom was built by a father who never met either of his grandfathers. He doesn't know what their voices sounded like or what advice they would have given.

His own father is still here — a refrigeration engineer, a busy man, not always easy to sit down with. There are so many things he'd want to know about him. He keeps meaning to ask.

He has two children. He didn't want them to grow up with the same empty spaces — and he wanted to leave more of himself behind than was left for him.
