WHAT WHO'S UP IS NOT

• Not a chat app. No messages. No emojis. No "typing..." bubbles. • Not a social network. No feed. No followers. No vanity metrics. • Not for meeting strangers. Only your existing contacts, and only if they're on the app too. • Not loud. Silent by default. Your Focus modes are respected without you asking.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Add the people who actually matter (by phone or contacts). No browsing strangers. No suggested friends. We don't have those.
2. Tap "I'm Up" when you're around and open to a hangout, a call, or just knowing your people are nearby.
3. Your circle sees a passive notification — no buzz, no banner, no sound.
4. If they're around too, they'll let you know. If they're not, no one was bothered.

DESIGNED FOR THE QUIET HOURS

Who's Up runs on iOS passive notifications — visible on the lock screen, but silent. Do Not Disturb and Focus modes are respected automatically. If you're asleep, you won't even know a ping came in.

PRIVACY FIRST, BY DEFAULT

• No location tracking. Not now, not ever. • No public profile. No discoverability outside your contacts. • Contacts are matched on-device using cryptographic hashing — names and numbers never leave your phone without explicit consent. • Mutual friendship required. No one-way follows. No fan accounts. • Block anyone, anytime, no question asked.
