Hardware Keyboard Companion is built to make using a physical keyboard on iOS feel faster, smarter, and more customizable.

Designed as a powerful companion for hardware keyboard users, HWC provides a responsive hardware key reader, systemwide keyboard extension, and a flexible customization app for tuning how your keyboard behaves. Whether you use a compact keyboard, full-size layout, or custom shortcut setup, HWC gives you one focused control surface for adjusting your experience.

When you need quick on-screen access, HWC also includes a row-style software keyboard that stays easy to reach without getting in the way.

Use the companion app to:

• Choose your visual theme and accent color
• Tune hold behavior for Caps Lock, Menu, and Delete
• Adjust row sizing, spacing, and keyboard density
• Pick a layout preset or customize your shortcut keys
• Verify that the keyboard extension is enabled and syncing correctly
• Configure your software keyboard layer from one clean interface

The included keyboard extension works systemwide anywhere iOS allows third-party keyboards. Secure text fields continue to use the system keyboard, as required by iOS.
