Features & Capabilities

Inerday is an interoception-training and self-awareness tool that lowers the barrier to self-recording as far as it will go. When you have a continuous sense of your own life, happiness comes more easily.

It starts from the person you want to become, links your current goals to daily to-dos, and helps you turn “one day” into "today", realizing your dreams calmly, peacefully, with quiet conviction.

So it isn't simply a journal, a to-do app, or an AI chat tool. It's the culmination of my life philosophy: focus on today, focus on your energy, listen to what your body feels, finish your goals efficiently, nothing else matters.

  1. Capturing the present moment: interoception training

Hourly, not daily journaling.

People who are doing well long-term and people who are chronically anxious differ in one key way: the first group can clearly sense how they're feeling right now. Inerday captures this very moment at the lowest possible input cost like texting yourself, or a single photo, or one nudge of an energy bar.

  1. Why energy boost/drain is inherently more useful than mood tracking

Traditional mood is an evaluation; energy is information.

"Drain" isn't a moral judgment (unlike "lazy" or "wasting time"), it's just an energy fact. It's a verb-like language about flow, and it rewrites the grammar of your inner narrative. When your energy is low, you go do something that recharges you. That single piece of information carries no subjective judgment.

  1. Report and Momo

The report sums things up for you; Momo carries a memory of you and answers your questions.

  1. The link between Overview to-dos and Daily to-dos

A three-layer structure:

  • Overview layer (Vision + Goals + Missions) = "who I want to become"
  • Daily to-do layer = "what I do today"
  • Hourly energy entries layer = "how I feel right now"

Most productivity apps only built the middle layer (the to-do list); some built the top (OKRs / goal management); some built the bottom (the mood journal). But the real source of efficiency is the loop between these three layers.

How the loop works:

Top-down: injecting meaning Your daily to-do doesn't pop up as a random task out of nowhere, it's derived from the vision and missions you wrote down. That means every time you check off a daily to-do, what you're subconsciously checking off isn't "finished a chore" but "I got one step closer to the person I want to become." This implicit injection of meaning is one of the strongest triggers of dopamine release, stronger than the completion of the task itself.

Bottom-up: reality calibration Each day's energy entries tell you: you say you want to become X, but the things that actually generate a boost for you every day are Y. This data stream is honest, and it keeps you from setting false goals. In the daily-report logic, the AI receives the vision, missions, to-dos, and entries all at once, then generates tomorrow's suggestions, which is the loop closing: today's energy data → tomorrow's action suggestions → long-term fine-tuning of the vision.

Lateral: the psychology of rolling to-dos Daily to-dos roll (anything unfinished automatically carries over to the next day); weekly to-dos don't:

  • Rolling means there's no feeling of "failure", a to-do doesn't vanish or turn red just because you didn't do it today; it simply waits for you.
  • But rolling also creates a gentle visible pressure, it stays in front of you, reminding you, "hey, this is still here."
  • Weekly to-dos not rolling is a kind of respect for the boundary of the week, when a week ends, it ends, which avoids the guilt of an endlessly growing pile.
