Scream Jar started as a place to put your loudest moments. Then users made swear jars. Jars of their dog's barks. Jars of every dumb thing their roommate says at 2am. Turns out the jar metaphor works for anything worth collecting, so now it's yours to fill however you want.

Every sound becomes a one-of-a-kind orb. Its color comes from the pitch of your voice. Its size comes from how loud you were. They float inside a glass jar you can tilt, shake, and unleash.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Tap + and record a sound. Shout, whisper, fart, whatever fits the jar.
2. Trim the good part. Pick a filter if you want.
3. Watch it fly into the jar as a glowing orb.
4. Tap any orb to hear it again. Rename. Re-trim. Delete.
5. Gift your jar to a friend as a .screamjar file. They open it, they get the whole collection.

SEVEN CINEMATIC ORB SKINS Choose how your sounds look. Solid glowing hue (default), crystal stars (Nova), volumetric nebula clouds (Nebula), living fire (Ember), lightning storms (Tempest), mirror-ball chrome (Disco Ball), plasma tendrils (Plasma), or rainbow spiral (Vortex). Mix and match across jars.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Every sound stays on your device. No analytics, no tracking, no cloud uploads. Sharing only happens when you tap the share button. You're always in control. Jar metadata syncs across your own devices via your private iCloud.

BUILT FOR iOS 26 Scream Jar uses Metal for real-time glass refraction, orb physics, and lighting. Designed to run at 60 fps on iPhone 13 and up. Looks wild on the newest hardware.
