YENI is a daily micro learning app for curious minds. Every day you pick one subject, anything from philosophy or psychology to history, science, music, cooking, or astronomy, and YENI brings you one fascinating topic to explore inside it. There are no endless feeds, no fear of missing out, and no streaks or die guilt. Just one new idea, three short sessions, and the quiet pride of knowing something today that you did not know yesterday.
Each day is split into three sessions designed to fit around real life. The first session is called Spark and it takes about two minutes in the morning. Spark gives you eight surprising hooks about today's topic, the kind of facts a friend would lean in and tell you over coffee. Quick, punchy, and the kind of thing that makes you go wait, really. The second session is called Dig and it takes about five minutes in the afternoon. Dig is a clean, structured lesson that actually teaches you the topic. It walks you through the introduction, what it really is, how it works, three concrete examples, where you see it in real life, and what people commonly get wrong. You see one section at a time, full screen, with no clutter. After the lesson you swipe through a deck of flashcards to test your memory. Swipe right if you got it, left to revisit later, long press to save it to your library forever. The third session is called Reflect and it unlocks after seven in the evening. Reflect is a short quiz that locks in what you learned during the day. We deliberately gate Reflect until the evening because your brain needs time to settle the day's learning before being tested. It is not a gimmick, it is how memory actually works.
What makes YENI different is that it gives you exactly one topic per day. There is no infinite scroll, no autoplay, no algorithmic feed pulling you back in. There are twenty four built in subjects to choose from, plus an Other option where you can type any subject in the world. Surfing, cryptography, jazz history, perfumery, lost civilisations, anything you are curious about. YENI builds a real lesson on it. Every subject you pick suggests fifteen fresh angles for you to choose from, all generated specifically for your interest. Every lesson is original, written in plain English with everyday analogies, and never sounds academic. Every topic comes with a hand drawn doodle illustration in a sketchbook style. You can track your learning in your Topic Passport, see your knowledge grow on a personal map, and keep a streak that respects your real life instead of guilt tripping you into showing up.
YENI was built for adults who still want to learn for the joy of it. If you have ever fallen down a Wikipedia rabbit hole and wished it had been a little more structured. If you have tried Duolingo or Blinkist and wanted something deeper, broader, and less pushy. If you finished school years ago and still get excited when you understand something new. YENI was built for you.
Something new, every day.
