Hit the Road is an interactive travel companion designed to help users explore America’s historic highways, scenic routes, and cultural landmarks. The app provides curated, non‑commercial content across multiple iconic roadways, including Route 66, the Pacific Coast Highway, and the Lincoln Highway, with additional routes planned for future updates.

Each route includes a structured, state‑by‑state catalog of historically significant, novel, or culturally relevant Points of Interest. Every POI includes an information screen with facts, a map pin for navigation, contact details, and a built‑in tool for recording the date of a visit. Users can also create custom location stamps for places not already listed, ensuring the app supports personalized travel documentation.

The app includes several interactive features that enhance the travel experience:

• Digital Passport Stamps: Users can mark locations they’ve visited, automatically generating a dated “cancellation stamp” for their personal travel record.

• Travel Journal: A built‑in journaling tool allows users to document their trips, attach photos, and export entries for sharing on social media.

• USA Map Explorer: An interactive map of the United States provides historical facts, state symbols, and a visual tracker showing which states the user has visited.

• Road Games Collection: Five family‑friendly games (Rainbow Game, Alphabet Game, Highway Bingo, License Plate Game, and Find It… Fast!) offer on‑the‑road entertainment. Highway Bingo includes a catalog of 250 icons, randomized card generation, and optional card sharing for multiplayer use.
