TapNRead helps pre-K and kindergarten children learn to read using the books they already love. Just point your iPhone at a page — every word becomes tappable. Your child taps a word, hears it spoken clearly, and can even practice saying it themselves.

HOW IT WORKS Hold your phone over any book page. TapNRead's camera instantly detects every word and places a gentle highlight over each one. Your child taps a word to hear it. Tap the play button to hear a whole line read aloud with each word lighting up as it's spoken. It's that simple.

PRONUNCIATION PRACTICE When you're ready for more, turn on Practice Mode. Now when your child taps a word, they're encouraged to try saying it first. The app listens, and if they get it right — stars and celebration! If not, the app gently helps with the correct pronunciation. No scores. No pressure. Just encouragement.

SOUND IT OUT Stuck on a tricky word? Tap "Sound it out" and the app breaks the word into syllables, highlighting and speaking each part: EL - E - PHANT. Just like a teacher would do — clap it out, sound by sound, then blend it together.

WORKS WITH ANY BOOK TapNRead doesn't have a library of digital books. It works with the books your child already has — their favorite bedtime stories, library books, schoolwork, cereal boxes, even street signs. If it has words, TapNRead can read it.
