Vocal Vision

Vocal Vision is an assistant-based app that helps the blind and visually impaired users to navigate within the indoor environments. It verbally informs the users of the detected, common objects in front of them in real-time.

This app uses the camera to detect nearby objects and speak audio alerts. Allow camera permission on launch, point the camera at the environment, and listen for spoken updates. Double-tap anywhere to pause or resume detection. You can also swipe up or down anywhere on the screen to adjust the speed of the verbal speech output. The audio-based tutorial will also be available when using the app to learn how to use the app efficiently.
