VaultSnap locks your private photos behind AES-256-GCM encryption, biometric authentication, and a PIN you choose. Imported photos and thumbnails are encrypted the instant they enter the vault. Vault metadata stays in the app's on-device database.

REAL ENCRYPTION, NOT JUST A LOCK SCREEN Most "vault" apps hide your photos behind a simple passcode. VaultSnap actually encrypts every imported photo and thumbnail using AES-256-GCM (the same standard used by banks and governments). Even if someone accesses your device files directly, they will see only encrypted data.

BIOMETRIC + PIN UNLOCK Open VaultSnap with Face ID or Touch ID. Set a custom PIN as a backup. Both are required before your vault is accessible.

DECOY VAULT Being pressured to unlock your phone? Enter your decoy PIN instead. VaultSnap opens an empty decoy vault with none of your real albums, photos, settings, or trash exposed. Your real photos stay hidden and encrypted.

BREAK-IN DETECTION Enable break-in detection and VaultSnap can capture a front-camera selfie after repeated wrong PIN attempts. Review the break-in log in Settings to see when access attempts happened and any encrypted selfies captured on your device.

PER-ALBUM PIN LOCKS Add a separate PIN to any album for an extra layer of protection. Even after unlocking the main vault, sensitive albums stay locked until their own PIN is entered.

30-DAY TRASH RECOVERY Accidentally deleted something? Trashed photos are recoverable for 30 days before permanent deletion. You always have time to change your mind.

ALTERNATE APP ICONS Make VaultSnap blend in. Choose from multiple alternate app icons so the app looks like a calculator, notes app, or something else entirely.
