HOW IT WORKS CleanEats downloads the full NYC restaurant inspection database — 30,000+ restaurants — directly to your phone. All searches are instant and work completely offline. No backend server, no waiting.

Every restaurant gets a simple verdict: EAT or SKIP.

EAT = only A grades, no vermin violations in the past 2 years (configurable) SKIP = failed grades, vermin history, or both

• Green pins = EAT. Red pins = SKIP. See the whole block at a glance.
• Only about 42% of NYC restaurants pass the full test — now you'll know which ones.
• Vermin flag surfaces roach, mice, rat, and pest violations specifically
• Projected grades for ungraded inspections based on numeric score

• Full-text search by name, address, or cuisine — results sorted by distance
