Professional FFT Analysis
Analyze microphone input, audio, and video files with an FFT spectrum, waveform, waterfall, and oscilloscope — including peak, RMS, and clipping indicators.
FFT Analyzer is a powerful real-time spectrum analyzer for iPhone. It visualizes audio signals as a detailed frequency spectrum and waveform while presenting important measurements clearly.
In addition to live microphone analysis, you can import and examine audio and video files from the Files app or Photo Library. Control playback directly from the waveform while the spectrum and measurements are recalculated for the current position.
Key features:
- Real-time FFT analysis using the microphone
- Analysis of local audio and video files
- Import from Files and Photo Library
- Open compatible media directly from other apps
- Interactive waveform with position slider
- Play, pause, stop, and skip controls
- Peak, RMS, and clipping indicators
- Detection of dominant frequencies
- Adjustable frequency and decibel ranges
- Linear, logarithmic, and octave-based frequency axes
- FFT bars, spectrum trace, and combined display
- Waterfall and oscilloscope displays
- Persistence, peak hold, and other visual effects
- Customizable landscape layout
- Extensive smoothing and level behavior settings
- User interface in 18 languages
File analysis also provides information such as duration, sample rate, channel count, peak values, and prominent frequency regions. Analysis remains synchronized with playback so you can inspect individual sections precisely.
FFT Analyzer is designed for musicians, audio engineers, producers, educators, students, and anyone who wants to visualize and better understand audio signals.
Processing takes place directly on your iPhone for fast and independent audio analysis tailored to the current signal.
Export and reports
Analysis results can be exported as a CSV file. The export includes the app version and a timestamp, file details and metadata, technical audio data, overall RMS, peak, and dynamic range values, dominant frequencies, detected findings, and time-based RMS, peak, and frequency values for each analysis frame.
