A generative analogue synth for iPad that plays itself, and now plays your hardware: patterns, arps, and chords out over MIDI while you steer by ear.

SpiceCore is a generative synthesizer for iPad.

A polyphonic analogue-style engine (dual morphing oscillators, a dual filter with four modes and parallel routing, OSC-FM and ring modulation) with the warmth, drift, and character of the real thing.

What makes SpiceCore different is its generative engine, with three ways to play: a 32-step sequencer with Euclidean rhythms, Markov evolution, and bounded mutation; a Motion Arp; and Harmonic Mode. Four macros (Mutation, Density, Chaos, Memory) put generative behaviour at your fingertips, with their own values per generator.

MIDI OUT FOR YOUR RIG Each generator leaves on its own MIDI channel: sequencer, Motion Arp, and Harmonic chords, one voice each, into a hardware synth or a multi-channel MIDI-to-CV interface. In standalone, pick a USB, network, or Bluetooth MIDI port and SpiceCore becomes the generative brain of your rig.

MIXER & EFFECTS A level knob plus delay and reverb sends for each part (sequencer, arp, Harmonic, keys), feeding a tempo-synced delay and a plate-style reverb. DLY Age turns the echo towards worn tape; RVB Grain gives the plate its metal and shimmer. At zero, both are clean.

THE CONDUCTOR Switch it on and the performance breathes: macros lean, parts swell and recede, the space opens and closes over minutes, seeded so the same performance returns every time.

SOUND PALETTE Load up to four sounds and one pattern plays them all, spread along a tempo-synced morph: stepped, blended, or stacked, while the ribbon shows what is playing.

HARMONIC MODE One key picks a chord and SpiceCore voices it: three layouts, six chord colours, four voicing styles, and a motion engine for strum, pulse, arp, and evolving figures. It plays over the sequencer or arp, and the chord you hold leads them.

SOUND LAYERS AND SOURCE MIX Each generator can carry its own sound and its own level: give the sequencer, arp, or Harmonic part a voice of its own while the pattern stays shared.

Standalone with on-screen keyboard, or AUv3 instrument inside Logic Pro for iPad and other hosts.
