App says free but is not free!

I have emailed support several times to ask for assistance with the app and have had no response except for a box that asks if this app should get 5 stars! Um no. I was using the app for assistance with the food scanning and the bar code scanning. At least half the time the scanner is not able to obtain information - not even on a banana! The bar code scanning is a joke. It hardly ever reads my products. So I have to manually add everything in and if it won’t recognize items on my plate, then I have to look up the nutrition information for each product. I know this isn’t the end of the world but it is one additional step that is unnecessary and not what paid for. I have had a couple strokes and numbers, measurements and time are struggles for me. So this app sold me a product that doesn’t work as described. My doctor likes it because of the ability to send information to them. Idk if it’s worth staying just for that, or jumping ship and going with another app. Also, there is no help page for how this app even works. Like, you get gold coins for something you do or eat and yippee they’re collected in a bucket… but for what?? I could go on but I’ll stop now and drink my smoothie.
