We started with the business model. No more subscriptions. No more ads. No more selling your data. No more hiding matches from you. Pay once to join, or invite your friends and join free.

Here's what we built instead:

• The first voice note only dating app. You'll have to talk to your date sooner or later. You may as well start now.
• One like a day. No more doomswiping. No more meaningless matches. When you use your like, it means something.
• Your three most compatible people, every day. No exceptions. Other apps bury your best matches: we always raise them to the top.
• AI matchmaker onboarding. If we show you someone, you know they are looking for the same thing.
• A 50:50 gender balance. Other apps are overwhelmingly male. One has a bouncer at the door.
• A 7pm Date Drop. The stack refreshes simultaneously for all users in a city at 7pm local time.
• The person who swiped second starts the conversation. No more dead matches.
• Warn others. If someone's being creepy, you can ask us to show them to fewer people.

One is the first dating app on your side. Users pay once and never again. For the first time, what's good for you is good for us.
