WHY FAMILIES USE IT

The hours between visits can be the hardest part of the day. Memory Care Companion fills some of them with real conversation. About the family, about the garden, about the same favorite story for the tenth time. It never gets impatient, never rushes, and never minds hearing it again.

It is not a replacement for your visits. It is company in between them.

HOW IT WORKS

1. No setup needed. The companion learns as you go. Optionally add your name and anything else you want the companion to know right away.

2. Hand over the phone. One big button starts a call.

3. Check in whenever you like. Read past conversations and short summaries to see how the days have been going.

WHAT IT DOES

Speaks and listens naturally: Conversations happen out loud, at an unhurried pace, with a voice that is easy to hear and easy to follow.

Remembers what matters: Details mentioned in passing are added to the profile automatically, so the companion grows more familiar over time. Everything it learns is visible to you, and you can edit or delete any of it. Everything is stored locally and kept private

Keeps a record for family: Full transcripts and short summaries of every conversation, so you can see what your loved one has been talking about and how they have been. Stored locally for privacy.

Built for ease: One button. Large text. Clear audio through the speaker. Nothing to learn.

Adjustable to the person: Set how quickly the companion responds when someone pauses. Helpful for anyone who speaks slowly or takes a moment to find a word.

PRIVACY

Conversations and profile details are stored on the phone, not on our servers. There is no account to create and no email address to give. You can delete everything at any time from inside the app.

Memory Care Companion is a California nonprofit corporation. The app is free, with no subscriptions, no advertising, and nothing to buy. We built it because financial barriers should never decide who gets to feel less alone.

Memory Care Companion provides conversation and companionship. It is not a medical device and is not a substitute for medical care, professional caregiving, or emergency services. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent dementia or any other condition.
