nShifts is the shift planner for everyone who works rotating shifts. Whether you're in healthcare, law enforcement, fire service, manufacturing, hospitality or retail – nShifts combines everything in one app: calendar, rotations, manual entries right on the calendar (3 weeks vacation? 2 taps – done), analytics, overtime account and PDF export.

INFINITE ROTATIONS Set it up once, never think about it again. Your shift plan calculates itself automatically for years – whether it's a 3-shift, 4-shift or more complex system. Multiple rotations on a timeline with start and end dates. Internal rotations for alternating patterns within a cycle. Rotation shifts cannot be accidentally deleted – they're fixed. However, shifts can be manually overridden. Delete the manual entry and the original rotation shift reappears.

OVERRIDE RULES (PRO) The standout feature: override rules automatically replace your rotation – based on date, weekday or public holiday. 12h night shift on Sundays? Day off on holidays? Set it once, nShifts handles the rest. Work hours and start time are overridden per rule.

AUTO WORK TIME Absences aren't calculated at a flat rate – instead, the actual scheduled hours of the day are used. Vacation on a 10-hour day? 10 hours are counted – not 8. Vacation entered on a weekend? Don't worry, nothing is calculated.

OVERTIME ACCOUNT (PRO) Track overtime with a running balance, FIFO principle and configurable surcharge system. Offset absences as time-in-lieu directly – the balance stays up to date at all times.

SHARE SHIFT PLANS Share your shift plan via a 6-digit code with colleagues, family or friends. Subscribed plans appear as extra rows in your calendar – synced in real time via iCloud. The code is tied to your iCloud account – strangers can't use it. No external servers, no extra account, no registration. Receiving is included in the free version of the app.

If you don't work shifts yourself, you can display a subscribed plan as your main calendar – nShifts becomes the perfect info system for partners and family.

SHARED FREE TIME (PRO) Search specifically for consecutive free days when all, or selected, subscribed calendars are free at the same time.

ANALYTICS (PRO) Total hours per shift type, bar or pie chart. Custom date range picker. Public holidays individually selectable.

PDF EXPORT (PRO) Monthly and annual calendars as PDF – filterable by category, with public holidays, directly shareable.
