Bluetooth Play Button&Handfree
SoundSnap is a photo and video recording app that supports voice control and headphone button control. Simply speak a sentence or press the play button on your headphones to take a photo or start/stop recording.
Whether recording travel scenery, capturing the smiles of family and friends, or preserving important evidence, SoundSnap delivers an unprecedentedly convenient shooting experience with its innovative voice control and headphone button control technology.
■ Three ways to control
· Voice control
In video mode, say “start recording,” “record,” or “record video” to begin, and “stop,” “stop recording,” or “end” to stop. In photo mode, say “take photo” or “take a picture” to capture; say “flash on” or “flash off” to control the flash (rear camera only).
· Headphone button
With wired or Bluetooth headphones connected, use the play button on the headset: in video mode, press once to start recording and again to stop; in photo mode, press once to take a photo. You can hear spoken feedback (e.g. “Recording started,” “Video saved,” “Photo captured”) through the headphones so you don’t need to look at the screen.
· In‑app touch
On the camera screen, the large center button starts/stops video or takes a photo; the side button switches front/rear camera; with the rear camera in photo mode, the flash control is in the top bar.
■ Main features
· Photo and video: front and rear camera, flash (photo mode, rear camera).
· Black-screen silent mode: optional—no preview and no voice prompts; control via headphone button or tap only, for more privacy.
· Voice feedback: optional spoken prompts (“Recording started,” “Video saved,” “Photo captured”) for eyes-free use.
· SoundSnap album: all photos and videos from this app are saved to the “SoundSnap” album.
· My records: view, play, and delete your SoundSnap media in one place inside the app.
· Watermarks and settings: add time, location, and app name to photos; dark mode, font size, multiple languages (Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean), and a command reference.
■ When to use it
· When one or both hands are busy—use voice or the headphone button to shoot.
· While cycling, exercising, or outdoors—hands-free control is safer.
· When you want to record discreetly—turn on black-screen silent mode.
· When you want all SoundSnap captures in one place—use “My records” and the SoundSnap album.
SoundSnap keeps your media on your device and in your photo library. We ask for camera, microphone, speech recognition, and photo library access only when needed.
