Scanned a room, a product or a statue and ended up with a file too heavy to send or open? 3D Simplify shrinks LiDAR, photogrammetry and Object Capture scans, and any downloaded model, into a light USDZ that opens instantly in AR Quick Look, Messages and web stores. It cuts the polygon count on your device, and Re-bake Textures (Pro) re-wraps the original texture onto the lighter mesh so surfaces stay sharp instead of smeared. Nothing is uploaded, no account to create.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Import a model from the Files app - USDZ, USD, USDA or USDC.
2. Let Auto pick the reduction, or set it yourself with the Pro ratio slider, and compare Original and Simplified side by side.
3. Rotate, preview, name the file, and export a USDZ.

3D SIMPLIFY PRO • Manual ratio slider in 5% steps, from Minimal to Aggressive • Texture Size: export textures at Original, 1/2 or 1/4 to cut file size further • Re-bake Textures: re-atlases the mesh so a heavy reduction does not leave smeared or stretched seams - built for photogrammetry, Object Capture and LiDAR scans • Hausdorff quality reading and output validation after a re-bake, showing how far the simplified surface has moved from the original • Saved Models Library: keep results and reload them later • Unlimited files per batch run • New Pro tools as they ship

PRIVACY AND PERFORMANCE Everything runs on your device and the texture atlas step is Metal-accelerated. No account, no upload, no cloud - it works in airplane mode.

PLEASE NOTE 3D Simplify is not a 3D scanner, a modelling app or a format converter. It takes a model you already have and makes it lighter, and export is always USDZ. It does not remesh, retopologise or repair broken geometry. Reducing a mesh always removes detail, so the side-by-side view is there for you to decide how much is acceptable.

SUBSCRIPTION 3D Simplify Pro is an auto-renewing subscription: US$2.99 per month or US$19.99 per year (US pricing; your local price is shown before you confirm). Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel any time in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions.
