PIVOT is a daily puzzle about finding the shortest path. Every day everyone gets the same 3x6 grid of letters and the same target word - shown to you from the start. Your job isn't to guess it. It's to get there in the fewest moves.

Tap any pivot dot and the four letters around it rotate clockwise. That's the whole rulebook. Learning it takes ten seconds; finding the shortest route takes longer, and there is always a shorter route than the one you found.

Most solves take about a minute.

HOW TO PLAY

• A new puzzle is released every day at midnight Eastern
• The target word is shown - no guessing, no vocabulary test
• Tap any dot between four letters to rotate them clockwise
• Spell the target word in the highlighted middle row
• Fewer moves = better score
