Pairdle Slide

Pairdle Slide is a daily word puzzle with a picture hiding underneath it. Slide letter tiles together, merge them into words, and the painting behind the board is revealed piece by piece. Finish the board and the picture is yours to keep, collect, play again, and give away.

HOW IT PLAYS Every board is a 6x6 grid holding 34 letter tiles - 17 words, each split in half and scattered. Slide a half into its partner and they lock together with a flash and a chime. The word list starts hidden, so every word is a discovery; spend a REVEAL if you want one handed to you. Real words you stumble onto that aren't on the list count as bonus finds, and there's a Secret Word buried in every board.

A NEW PICTURE EVERY DAY Today's Daily Challenge is a fresh board with its own original painting behind it. A different one tomorrow, and the day after. Miss a day and the Archive keeps it for you.

BUILD A STREAK Solve the daily and your streak grows. Life happens, so you can bank up to three Streak Freezes and one will spend itself automatically to cover a day you miss - no scrambling at midnight, no starting over.

COLLECT THE PICTURES Every nine dailies you solve completes an artwork for your Puzzle Gallery, and the picture is yours from the first piece, filling in as you go. Complete a collection and you pick a permanent theme from the Vault to keep for good.

THEME PACKS Nearly a hundred themed boards build their words around a single idea: cats, campfires, pirates, the seaside, sweets, dozens more. Six are open to everyone from the start. Unlock the Vault for a day to try the rest, and any theme you actually finish moves into My Puzzles and stays there, pass or no pass.

PLAY YOUR PICTURES AS SLIDING PUZZLES Every painting you earn is playable a second way. Open the Gallery, pick a picture, and it becomes a classic sliding picture puzzle - the tile-shuffling kind - right in the app.

IMAGE PACKS Want more to slide? Image Packs drop a hundred new pictures into your Gallery in one go, starting with a hundred dogs. Cats, castles, gardens, undersea and more are on the way. Buy a pack once and it's yours forever.

SEND A PUZZLE TO A FRIEND Finished a picture you love? Send it. Your friend gets a link that opens the same sliding puzzle in their browser - no app, no account, no sign-up. They can send one back.

CLASSIC MODE When you don't want to wait for tomorrow, Classic mode is one tap away: an ordinary board, generated fresh, no clock running.

LEADERBOARDS AND BADGES The daily leaderboard ranks today's board on moves. The all-time board ranks you on how you finish against everyone who played the same days, so a brutal day never counts against you. Climb the title ladder from Rookie to Luminary and collect badges for clean solves, fast solves, long streaks and rare runs.

REPLAY AND SHARE Every solve is recorded. Watch your own game play back move by move, then share the link - friends can watch it and then play the same board themselves.

BUILT FOR A COFFEE BREAK Boards take a few minutes. Progress saves mid-board, so you can put it down and pick it up. Sign in with Apple or Google to sync across devices, or just play - your progress comes with you if you sign in later.
