Rucking is simply walking with weight on your back. It's one of the most effective full-body workouts you can do — burning more calories than walking alone while building strength and endurance.
THREE WORKOUT MODES
Start Ruck
Track your rucks with real-time GPS or enter distance manually. Add your ruck weight plus optional extra credit items like a sandbag, jerry can, or CMU. See your distance, pace, and route on a map as you go.
Start Workout
Log ruck-based exercises like squats, thrusters, overhead presses, lunges, rows, and more. Track reps or timed holds. Ruck lunges earn double credit for the extra effort.
Distance Challenge
Set a target distance and try to beat your personal best time. Track your PRs across 1, 2, 3, 5, and 10 mile distances or set a custom goal.
MEASURE YOUR EFFORT
Ruck Work Tracker calculates two key metrics to quantify your effort:
Ruck Work Units (RWU) — A measure of total work combining weight carried, distance covered, and exercises completed.
Ruck Tons — Total weight carried across all workouts divided by 2000, showing how much cumulative weight you've moved.
