CLEANING THAT GOES DEEPER LinkClean does more than trim the obvious tags: • Unwraps redirect links to find and clean the real destination • Strips trackers hiding after the # in a link • Expands short links too — turn on Short-Link Expansion and LinkClean follows bit.ly, t.co, and the like to the real page before cleaning it (free, off by default, and the only time the link itself is sent out — always your choice)

SEE WHO WAS TRACKING YOU Every clean shows a calm summary of how many trackers were removed — tap to see exactly which ones, and who set each one. utm_source was built by Urchin Software in 1996, years before Google bought them and turned it into Google Analytics. fbclid is Meta's, from 2018. Tap a leftover to strip it from now on. The Statistics dashboard adds it all up over time, with a privacy card you can share.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN Cleaning happens entirely on your device, and the full links you clean never leave it — not the path, the parameters, or any values. The one exception is Short-Link Expansion: turn it on and the link is sent out, to follow it to the real page. LinkClean uses only anonymous, aggregate analytics to learn which features matter; the one thing it notes about a cleaned link is its site domain (like youtube.com), never the full link.
