Food Diary: Symptom Tracker

How you feel is tied to what you eat — but pinning down trigger foods on your own is nearly impossible. Food Diary: Symptom Tracker helps you discover which foods cause your symptoms by logging what you eat, recording how your body responds, and keeping your data private.

Discover Your Food Triggers Track meals and symptoms side by side, and the patterns in your reactions start to surface. Find out which foods cause bloating, headaches, skin issues, or digestive problems. Interactive charts break down frequency, severity trends, and timing patterns, so you can identify triggers with confidence instead of guesswork.

Your Complete Food Journal Log it all: meals, portion sizes, and symptoms across the whole day. Visual timelines lay out the relationship between what you eat and how you feel, turning scattered observations into clear patterns. Because you can track how long after eating symptoms appear, delayed reactions stop slipping past you.

Professional Reports for Your Doctor Walk into appointments with a polished PDF report — your complete food timeline, symptoms organized by severity, and portion history in one document. Organized records help your healthcare provider understand your experience and see exactly which foods trigger reactions.

Discover Patterns with Powerful Analytics Interactive charts cover symptom frequency, severity trends over time, food impact comparisons, and monthly and weekly patterns. Filter by meal type, portion size, or symptom severity to uncover insights, and see at a glance which foods cause which reactions.

Effortless Daily Tracking Quick-entry with intelligent filtering surfaces foods and symptoms as you type. Between color-coded severity indicators, emoji icons, and smart recent suggestions, logging takes seconds. Record multiple meals, note portion sizes, and capture timing — all in one beautifully designed interface.

Sync Across All Your Devices Your food data syncs safely across iPhone, iPad, and Mac through your secure iCloud account. Your information stays private — no accounts required, no third-party access. Your complete food journal is with you anywhere, anytime.

Privacy You Can Trust Your health information lives on your device and in your personal iCloud. No accounts required, no tracking, no data sharing. You decide who sees your food sensitivity data.

Managing IBS, investigating allergies, working through an elimination diet, or simply trying to feel better — Food Diary: Symptom Tracker turns scattered notes into clear insights about your food triggers.

Food Diary requires a purchase or active subscription to access the app's food trigger discovery tools, complete food journal, professional reports for your doctor, powerful analytics, effortless daily tracking, device syncing, and other app content.

The dial for selecting a meal time is so wonky that I had to give up. I’d spin to the desired time and release my finger to spin the Am/Pm dial and it would immediately consider me done and return to the meal entry screen. Tried many times to get it to work until I realized there was no way I could deal with this nonsense for 3 or more meals a day. Sorry I just paid for a full year!!!
