My Q990D is connected perfectly within the SmartThings app. I can control it, WiFi works just fine, Bluetooth works fine, everything works fine in that app. When I tried to connect it using this app, it prompted me to re-connect to WiFi (?) (it’s already connected) which then failed but I can’t even remove it from the app now. I switch back to SmartThings and everything works fine. This app is currently absolutely useless and certainly riddled with bugs as many others have pointed out. There’s no point in even having this app when everything works just fine on the other one. The UI feels a lot less detailed here too. Things just look “pixelated” compared to the crystal clear UI of SmartThings.

Downloaded as instructed for my q990h soundbar, app immediately pulled up the model and would not connect to the device. Downloaded the SmartThings app instead and had no issues. Samsung needs to discontinue this app and modify their instructions, frustrating experience.

Samsung comes out with a SmartThings app so you could have everything all in one place and then they try and come out with this app to change that for some reason. Can’t even get past the network set up sound bar is connected to a 5 GHz only network and so isn’t my phone and all it gives me an option to do is go to settings.
