Our Story -

Hokimi started with our own team's questions: Where are the weekend festivals? Which restaurants are actually worth your evening? Which discounts are real? How do I handle taxes, avoid common fines, find good kids' activities, buy a house?

Our team brings together Dutch locals and international residents who've made the Netherlands home. Between us, we kept discovering hidden gems - but for newcomers especially, it took time, energy, and sometimes pure luck to find them, often because of the language barrier. When we started sharing what we'd learned, it saved people months of trial and error. So we built Hokimi to share it all in one place - for locals and internationals alike.
