WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

No sign-in. Not once. There is no account and no login screen anywhere in this app. Your Mac and your device do not have to belong to the same person or the same Apple ID. A work Mac next to a personal iPad, a shared machine, a family computer — all of them just work.

Your iPhone counts as a screen too. This is not iPad-only. If the phone on your desk is what you have, it becomes a small always-on panel for chat, a timer, notes, or a document you keep glancing at. Nothing else to buy.

A real extra display, not only a mirror. The free Mac app creates a virtual display, so macOS treats your device as an actual second monitor. Drag windows onto it and keep your main screen clear. Mirroring is there when that is what you want.

It stays on your Wi-Fi. Your Mac and your device find each other and stream over your local network. The screen you send does not pass through our servers.

HOW TO SET IT UP

1. Install Easy Air Screen on your iPad or iPhone.
2. Download the free Mac app at easy-air-screen.cottonray.com and open it.
3. Put both devices on the same Wi-Fi network.
4. Pick your Mac in the app. The second screen opens.

FOR A SMOOTHER PICTURE

Use 5GHz Wi-Fi on both devices. If you notice lag, lower the resolution in the app settings.
