The Valley Metro Connect app can be used to access Paratransit, Ride Choice, and Deviated Fixed Route services.

How It Works

Valley Metro Connect is a shared-ride service, meaning we pair multiple passengers heading in the same direction into a single vehicle.

Reliable Tracking: Watch your ride approach in real-time and get notified when your vehicle is nearby.

Service Hours

Deviated fixed route is a service available to all members of the public. Additional service information and schedules can be found on Valley Metro's website under "Rural Bus Route"

Paratransit is a shared ride service available to ADA-eligible passengers within Valley Metro's fixed route service area. Passengers must pre-register through Valley Metro's eligibility process and contact Valley Metro in order to take control of their account. To ensure consistent access, our paratransit service hours mirror the fixed-route bus service hours available in your specific service area.

Ride Choice allows access to a network of rideshare transportation providers for qualified passengers in participating communities. Passengers must pre-register through Valley is available at all hours to qualified individuals.

This app is very confusing and not user friendly at all. I was hoping to teach my disabled child how to set up their own reservations but it is confusing and the font is very large (which is great for visually impaired) but there’s no way to adjust it, so everything is either cut off or distorted. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of 1 is because using it is better than the 30-40 minute wait on the phone for users now, used to be able to call and get someone right away, which is completely unsafe and unreliable for someone with disabilities if they need to reschedule a ride. Do better, Paratransit.

First, to have RideChoice have to walk you through setting it up is ridiculous. Finally got it set up, put in my credit card and used it exactly once. It was difficult to use as every time I would select a provider, I prefer Uber or Lyft, it would say that ride is no longer available. I finally went through quickly enough to grab a ride and all is well from there. Went to use the second time and it said I don't have proper login credentials, even though I saved the login email and password to my iPhone. Only option is to click on "forgot password "which sends you to a page to put your email address in and it says you should receive an email to reset your password. I've done that several times and have not received said email. Called RideChoice, told him the issue, he took down my email information, exact same directions to login that I have been doing to no avail. This is absolutely ridiculous! I taught computer education for 18 years so I'm very comfortable with apps and Tech. If I can't get through the system to get a ride, what are the people who don't have my abilities doing? This is seriously a waste of our taxpayer money if the software they expect elderly and those with disabilities to use is so out of date it becomes impossible.
