Comprehensive Dashboard & Analytics
The Dashboard provides real-time insights into your digital habits. The Social Media Effect Score calculates your impact score, while the Mood Trend feature tracks your scroll recovery timeline and emotional patterns. The Weekly Impact Overview visualizes mood trends and compares screen time against daily limits. The Content Reflection Breakdown analyzes content across nine categories—from beauty and body image to educational material. The Sleep & Scroll Impact card reveals how social media affects sleep quality, while the Habit Tracker monitors progress toward healthier routines.
AI-Powered Content Analysis
The Content Report system uses AI (Anthropic Claude and OpenAI) to analyze social media content you paste or upload via screenshots. It provides detailed impact scores, visual charts, and personalized recommendations to help you understand how different types of content affect your mental health and wellbeing.
Daily Check-In & Habit Tracking
The Daily Check-In offers a two-step process for tracking social media usage. Track time spent across nine content areas: Beauty/Body Image, Connecting with Friends, Entertainment, Trends/Challenges, Mean Content, Educational Content, Celebrity Content, Gaming, and Posting Own Content. Each category tracks time independently, giving you granular insights. Includes mood tracking (5-point scale), mood comparison, and notes.
Journaling, Mindfulness & Goal Setting
The Journal allows you to create detailed entries, rate your mood (1-10 scale), and track your streak. Includes mindfulness features with configurable reminders (1-60 minutes), breathing exercises, and mindfulness messages. Choose from 10 predefined goals or create custom ones. Set daily time limits and track progress with visual celebrations.
Sleep Tracking & Assistant
The Sleep feature helps you understand the relationship between social media and sleep quality. Record bedtime, wake time, and sleep quality (1-5 scale), and track if social media affected sleep. The Sleep & Scroll Impact card correlates sleep data with social media usage. Includes an Assistant for personalized advice.
Personalization & Privacy
Scroll Sense offers extensive personalization options. Create a custom animated avatar with options for skin color, eye color, brow thickness, mouth expression, T-shirt color, and pants style. Your avatar appears next to your personalized greeting and can be animated with movement and expression changes. Customize your app background, toggle between light and dark modes, and adjust font size. Prioritizes privacy with full data export and secure Firebase storage.
Rewards
Scroll Sense offers an optional rewards layer built around consistency: earn XP and gems by using focus, planning, journaling, check-ins, mindfulness, goals, and related wellness tools. Levels, badges, and streaks track progress; streak freezes (earned or bought with in-app currency) can cover a missed day. Challenges, a leaderboard, and weekly leagues add light competition, and the Shop spends gems/XP on cosmetics and boosts, progression comes from using the app.
