ScrollGuard: Block Reels Apple

ScrollGuard: Block Reels

Hide feed, shorts, explore

Overview

Features & Capabilities

ScrollGuard helps you cut down on mindless screen time so you can use social media to stay connected, without getting sucked into the endless feed.

Instead of blocking entire sites or apps, ScrollGuard uses a Safari browser extension to hide the most addictive parts of social media websites: endless feeds, Reels, Stories, Explore pages and other attention traps. Because it filters content directly in the browser, you don’t have to lock yourself out of your accounts, rely on willpower, or delete anything. You keep the useful parts, without the constant pull to keep scrolling.

You choose what to hide, so you can still get value from social media without getting trapped in the scroll.

Features:

Hide Reels, Stories, Explore and other addictive sections of popular social platforms
Toggle each element on or off with simple switches

Premium Features: Set unlimited custom filters

User Reviews

I haven’t had this app long at all, but so far I love it. I am using the free version and the reel blocking feature has been incredibly valuable. I would definitely recommend to users wanting to limit scrolling time, or also simply to remove ads on Instagram. To the app developers… I think there may be a small bug with the posting aspect. When I try to post, it sends me to my camera roll like normal, but when I try to upload it says there has been an error. Is there a way to fix this? This is my only issue currently. Overall great app and will continue to use.
