mubo is a dance formation maker for choreographers, dance teams, cheer squads and marching bands. Lay out every formation on a timeline, sync it to your music, and hand the whole crew a plan they can actually follow.

CURVED TRANSITION PATHS Dancers don't walk in straight lines, so mubo doesn't draw them that way. Tap a dancer, drag the handle, and bend the path between two formations into an arc, a swoop or a circular walk. Your team sees the route they actually take, not just where they start and where they stop.

BUILD THE FORMATION

• Drag dancers around the stage and set keyframes to morph one formation into the next.
• Start faster with 14 adaptive formation templates, including lines, staggered rows, V shapes, arcs, circles, diamonds, grids and groups. Preview routes before applying, while keeping every dancer's name and color.
• Stage props: place stairs, speakers, mics, a DJ booth, arrows, shapes and text labels so the stage on screen matches the one you will perform on.
• Give every dancer a name and a color, group them, and move a whole group at once.
• Save a project per song and reopen it whenever the choreography changes.

MUSIC SYNC, FREE FOR EVERYONE Load a track and mubo draws the waveform for you, so every formation change lands on the beat. Preview in real time, and slow playback to 0.5x or push it to 2.0x while you learn the counts. Music sync is included free—no Pro subscription required.

REHEARSE WITH A REFERENCE VIDEO Add an MP4, MOV or M4V rehearsal video from your device. It stays muted and follows the same timeline and playback speed as your formation, so you can compare choreography and spacing without juggling two players. The video is copied into mubo's local storage and never uploaded.

SHARE IT WITH THE TEAM

• Rehearsal sheet (PDF), new in this version: one printable A4 page per formation, each with its formation number, its timecode and your notes. Print it, hand it out, mark it up at practice.
• Export video (MP4) of the routine playing back with your music.
• Send an animated GIF of a transition, or a still image of one formation, straight into the group chat.
