Pros
- Replaces messy paper blocking sheets with an easy-to-use tool for organizing and planning formations.
- Helps choreographers visualize formations and dancer traffic on stage, with color-coding for each person.
- Easy to learn and use, making formation changes quicker and more efficient.
- Offers a clear workflow for planning routines and seeing how formations flow on stage.
- Overall, users find it a highly useful tool for choreographing and staging performances.
Cons
- Frequent crashes and the app sometimes won’t open, risking loss of work.
- Sharing/exporting projects via text, email, or other apps often fails or attaches nothing.
- No undo button to quickly revert moves or errors.
- Lack of notes or text boxes per formation for descriptions or counts.
- Stage size/dimension limits, including inability to customize grid size or stage dimensions.

Not sure if it’s a glitch on my phone but when I try to save/export/share it just sends a text that says check this out… but no attachment. I’d at least like to be able to save to my files so I can share with other coaches when I’m not at practice.
Otherwise, this app has been fantastic! I use it all the time.
A few minor things… I wish I could save things into folders in the list as I have a ton of routines each year. I also wish there was a place to keep notes on each form so I could jot down different movements etc, but that’s being picky :)

The app is great other than when it comes to sharing a project. I tried sharing the project I was working on with a friend who also has the app and it wouldn’t let her open the text… it wouldn’t even let me open it and I sent it.

Thank you for making this available. Great help to me. I manage to learn to use it in a few mins, which is awesome. A few very simple and quick update can help a lot. 1) the stage is a little small. For example, I can’t draw 24 people in a line vertically. Would be great if the stage is 2x bigger in both direction. Or “, a bit more challenging, selectable. 2) would be great if I can enter a time stamp for each formation. Then provide a “play” button to run through all formations by the time stamp. 3) would be good to have a formation arrange view 4) would be good if the dancers can have facing directions, say 45 degree steps would be sufficient. 5) some notes per formation would be nice. Again, thank you for your awesome job. Looking forward to these updates
