The Rested Time Indicator shows the exact time you are legally rested, including adjustments for deadhead, limbo, and extended duty periods.

The monthly calendar view shows each day’s activity at a glance, including trips, layoffs, events, and payments. Tapping a day opens a detailed view with precise start and end times for each entry.

Layoffs and non-HOS activities can be logged with type, dates, notes, and optional pay. When a layoff spans multiple months, the app automatically prorates pay by calendar day so monthly totals remain accurate. Standalone payments such as bonuses or guarantee pay can also be logged and included in monthly summaries without affecting duty totals or miles.

Trip entry is designed for speed and accuracy, using right-aligned numeric fields, auto-filled station numbers, remembered route mileage, and crew name autocomplete. Deadhead segments support outbound and return legs with station numbers, miles, start times, end times, and automatic duration calculations. Taxi and Train-to-Train continuous duty runs are grouped with combined duty calculations and a clear breakdown of each segment.

Railroader Timebook includes clean PDF export and print options. You can export a single trip, an entire month, or a summary that includes miles, number of trips, pay totals, hours worked, remaining regulatory limits, limbo time, and continuous-duty details.
