FluidLoss.info is the companion app for estimating sweat loss and guiding hydration during and after workouts. Pair it with the FluidLoss data-field on your Garmin device to get real-time fluid-loss estimates while you ride.

How It Works Install the FluidLoss data-field on your Garmin device from the Connect IQ Store. During a workout, the data-field collects metrics—heart rate, duration, temperature, intensity—and sends them to the companion app. The app runs a machine-learning model to estimate how much fluid you're losing in real time. When you finish, you get a clear recap with a chart of fluid loss over time and key stats like duration, distance, and training effect.

Personalisation The base model works out of the box. After several sessions, you can provide actual fluid-loss measurements (weigh yourself before and after) to train a personalised model that accounts for your unique sweat rate. The more and better data you provide, the more accurate your estimates become.

Importing Activities Already have Garmin activities? Share a Garmin Connect activity link to the app and provide the fluid loss for that session—no need to redo the workout.
