SkySafari 8 Plus

SkySafari 8 Plus is a full-featured astronomy guide and space simulator for amateur astronomers. Point your device at the sky to identify stars, planets, constellations, satellites, and other celestial objects. Explore the night sky up to 10,000 years in the past or future, track eclipses and meteor showers, and discover events visible from your location.

The app includes telescope control, observing plans and logs, night vision, Orbit Mode, cloud syncing, real-time observing through OneSky, and SkyCast for sharing the sky remotely. Version 8 adds customizable UI themes, an astrophotography image gallery, plate solving, rotatable field-of-view indicators, and detailed observing conditions with viewing forecasts and sky quality metrics.
