I tried attending two died dating events through the app, and both times I checked in as soon as I was able but had to wait for *over an hour* before I got paired with someone else for a sped date. The speed dating events only last 1.5 hours. The first time, after waiting an hour I got paired with 2 people who apparently didn’t have a stable internet connection to start the video chat, and then got paired with 1 person who I did talk to. A single 6 minute conversation in a 1.5 hour speed dating event: The second time, I checked in as soon as I could, and didn’t get paired with *anyone* for the entire 1.5 hour event. I love the concept, but either not enough people are using the app to make the speed dating events worthwhile, or there are serious technical issues with the app.
