First, I’d like to state is that Catholic Match is NOT the problem with the modern faith-based dating. The source of modern dating predicament is our twisted backward culture, the toxic gaslighted attacks of traditional gender roles, the worship of false idols and the average self-centered person of social media. After being on Catholic Match on and off for about 7 years I have some light that I’d like to shed. Catholic Match, LLC. and its app are just a major money grab. Their app’s features do not allow for making a meaningful connection with a person. For example, you have no way of knowing if the person you messaged has a premium membership. Another instance is when your profile receives likes or likes other person’s. No response at all if it’s a message or like. This platform is nearly dead or full of bots that are on patrol. Also it is fair to mention that it does not matter if you filled out your profile completely or not. These features are NOT working anymore for this digital dating age. My recommendations would be to join a young adults’ group, take part in some of your parish’s ministries, attend other parishes in your Archdiocese, or become a member of the national Young Catholic Professionals (YCP) organization to meet potentially interesting / intriguing people. Additionally, I would suggest spending some time with God in prayer or adoration for meeting your person. All in all, get out of your comfort zone and talk with people. Save your money! Peace.

I found there’s too many paywalls to get anything decent and the matches you do get as a free member are infuriatingly low quality.

I've used this app for three years at least and gave it a fair shot. The women users are so low in numbers you literally see the same women year after year. It's only gotten worse too and now you can't even message a woman again until she replies, which was the ONLY good competitive feature they had over every other apps. Occasionally it helps to send a friendly hello after a no reply, but no CM decided to make it even tougher.
