Official PokéPark KANTO App

This app was extremely frustrating. I couldn’t log into the wifi at the park. My husband finally did and the app kept saying error … error… error. Needless to say we never got to use it. A guy at the information ended up writing us a manual ticket for a time slot for the shop. Good luck to everyone

I cannot stand apps like this or Tokyo disney that have pointless animations at the beginning of app reloads or refresh, consuming battery and time. There is someone who gave this a five star rating because it works on the park’s wifi or if you use a VPN. That’s besides the point - the app’s features don’t function until you have scanned into Yomiuriland. The region restriction is a waste and consumed an hour of our time because the park’s wifi was at capacity. Stop standing up for companies that charge you ¥14000 for a pass and do nothing to help you experience your purchase.

If you have your phone registered in a different country (other than Japan), you will get a message that the app does not work unless you are in Japan. Workarounds: It works if using a VPN service and selecting Japan as the country. At the park, connecting to the PokePark WiFi gets the app to work with or without a VPN.
