I followed the map to the enclosure titled “Giant Tortoise,” saw a spectacled owl instead, and now I have a disappointed toddler who wanted to see the turtle. (The PDF map on the web site shows that enclosure as blank.) It was a very frustrating experience, map updating my location slowly, map showing paths that are now closed with “Staff Only” signs, and scheduled events that are not happening. I thought the point of switching from paper to electronics was to have up-to-date information.
