HoleStory lets golfers track rounds, generate AI “hole stories,” and run tournaments with friends. Sign‑in is required (email, Apple, or Google).

To start a round: Home → Choose Course → select a tee. On the tee‑selection screen you can also choose a “Commentator” style for AI stories (also available later in Profile → Settings → Account Settings). When prompted, allow microphone access and try the AI recorder—speak the hole (e.g., “Driver right rough, 7‑iron to green, two putts, bogey”). The app transcribes and auto‑populates the score, putts, penalties, FIR, and GIR instantly while generating a short story; all fields remain editable.

The AI recorder and some advanced stats/tournament features are Premium; non‑subscribers will see the paywall where you can subscribe.

On the Stats tab, tap any card labeled “Advanced” to view detailed breakdowns (requires an active subscription; non‑subscribers will see the paywall).

Also on Home: “Enter Past Score” (Quick Entry) to add a completed round quickly for handicap, and “Manual Scorecard” to enter hole‑by‑hole without voice.

After finishing a round, review it in the Rounds tab (sorted by actual round date) and in the Social tab (posts ordered by most recent posting). In Social, each round post supports Like, Comment, and Attest (a vouch)—tap the like/attest counts to see who interacted, and tap the comment bubble to view the thread. To follow a live round from someone you already follow, go to the Social tab; when a followed user is live, a “Live” card appears at the top—tap it to watch their round hole‑by‑hole in real time (if no one is live, this section won’t appear).

Tournament Mode lets you create a tournament, add teams/players, and choose formats (Nassau, Best Ball, Stableford, Stroke, etc.). Invitees get an in‑app invitation within Tournament Mode to accept or decline, and the creator can enter/adjust scores for other members and teams with live leaderboards.

Social/privacy: You can set a Private Profile in Account Settings to hide posts from the Social tab. Following is request‑based: tapping Follow sends a request; the other user must open their Followers section to accept. You can report a user from their profile via the “…” menu in the top right; reports are sent to our Firebase backend.

Account deletion: Profile → Settings → Delete Account.

Subscriptions

• HoleStory Premium (Monthly): $4.99/month. Auto‑renewing monthly.
• HoleStory Premium (Annual): $49.99/year (~$4.17/month when billed annually). Auto‑renewing annually.
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings after purchase.
