• Direct Companion Sync: All operational features are strictly limited to transmitting real-time safety data directly to the authorized guardian's paired application.

APPLICATION DESCRIPTION & CORE FUNCTIONS

Bobby by KidSafe24 provides essential safety synchronization between youth devices and guardians.

Core Safety Functions (First-Party Functional Data Only):

• Secure Location Transmission: Transmits periodic location updates directly and exclusively to your paired guardian's app, reducing the necessity for manual check-ins while in transit.

• Emergency SOS Transmission: Includes a distress trigger. Activating the SOS function immediately relays current coordinates directly to your guardian's device.

• Audio Signal Reception: Receives high-volume audible notifications initiated by your guardian's device, ensuring you can be reached even if your device is set to silent.

• Battery Status Update: Transmits basic device battery level indicators to your guardian, ensuring they are aware when the device reaches low power thresholds.

DATA PROTECTION, PRIVACY, AND PERMISSIONS

Strict Child Privacy Commitment: Data processed by this app (location coordinates, battery status) is purely functional and restricted to end-to-end safety transmission between the child and the paired guardian device. It is never stored for marketing, never profiled, and never shared with or sold to third parties.

Device Permissions:

• Location Access: Required strictly to transmit coordinate updates to the paired parent app for safety monitoring. If location services are disabled, location updates will cease, but non-location features (such as receiving audible signals) remain fully operational.
