User Reviews

Overall sentiment is mixed. Many users love the digi-cam aesthetic, tones, and easy-to-use filters that deliver a camera-like look and boost photo appeal. However, recurring issues include AI edits that can overshoot or mis-edit, leading to unflattering or wrong results; billing problems with free trials and charges; and some frustration with account management and watermark restrictions. The app is praised for output quality and workflow, but reliability and subscription concerns limit consistent use.
Pros
  • Strong digi-cam aesthetic with tone, flash look, and light grain that makes photos feel like a digital camera.
  • High-quality filters and looks that many users find appealing and worth the subscription.
  • Easy to use and broadly useful for taking better photos; acts as a capable camera helper.
  • Marketed effects appear to be matched in practice; the app is the digi cam edits tool users were seeking.
  • Photos often come out pretty and raw, appealing to users who want authentic results.
Cons
  • AI edits can be heavy or inaccurate, sometimes misplacing distant details or making images look fake; users want an AI strength control.
  • Billing and subscription issues, including free-trial charges after cancellation and difficulty contacting support.
  • Some edits produce poor or unflattering results (greasy look, older appearance, or overall quality drop).
  • Account management concerns and watermarking challenges (difficulty deleting account; watermark can't be removed).

Can’t edit a photo without warping your face entirely. I paid for the whole year because the first few photos were great. Now they’re sloppy

I first tried this app on two photos and they came out perfect! Which persuaded me to purchase the yearly pro version. But I was quickly disappointed when I tried it again. Every photo I uploaded to the app distorted my face. It overly edits face details, making me look like a completely different person. I love the concept and the other edits it applies but I wish it would leave my facial features alone. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing the pro version until you test out a good amount of photos.
