ABOUT US Studierendenwerk Mannheim is a public-law student services organization supporting around 25,000 students across the Universität Mannheim, Hochschule Mannheim, DHBW, Musikhochschule, and Popakademie. For decades it has provided vital services including affordable student housing managing approximately 3,000 rooms across 19 residences nutritious and budget-friendly campus dining at canteens and cafés, and the administration of BAföG funding (with around €10 million disbursed annually). In addition, it offers comprehensive social, legal, and psychological counseling (including international student support), childcare services for student parents, an information center on campus, and stands out as Germany’s first climate‑neutral student services organisation.
