Every week for a year, view your "self" and your mindful practice through the lens of a new topic (*see all 52 topics below). The goal of Mindful on the Move App is to help people develop or expand their mindful practice AND sense of self, while "on the move" in thoughts, feelings, and actions- as they happen.
Challenge yourself to choose a practice to focus on each week, to build depth into your personal practice. Mindfulness gradually makes your "inner life" more fulfilling, as unneeded mental/emotional habits are discarded, and replaced by things you do want to focus on. Develop more ability to focus and intentionally create your experience; enjoy more details of life moments; relax more, and experience life without constant mind chatter. Choice about what goes on in your mind, means more choice about how life goes! For more advanced practitioners, mindfulness is a path toward enlightenment, or dissolution of ego. In Mindful on the Move App, you'll find many practice tools and suggestions to try: a cartoon for each weekly topic; articles; weekly quiz if you wish; walking meditation for each topic; weekly topic phone wallpaper, or a practice wallpaper for your phone as a reminder to practice; the mindfulness bell; a place to record/save insights if you wish, and the community of our Mindful on the Move(ment). Get your marker on our map of mindful movers, and invite your friends to do the same, as we attempt to "take over the world" with mindfulness!
